The original home of Twin Oaks, built in the early 1900's, the cottage is fully self contained with two bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The living room is north facing and warm all year round. The adjoining balcony faces of the paddocks, perfect for watching the sun rise or enjoying the golden hues of the setting sun. The fully contained kitchen has a dining table seating 6-8. There is a fridge, freezer and microwave. Entertainment in the cottage includes a TV, DVD player & movies, bluetooth speakers and a playstation. The cottage is fully heated.
The main bedroom is off the living room and has a queen bed. The second bedroom comprises a queen bed and a set of double bunks. Each room has fresh linen and electric blankets. Hot water bottles are also supplied. The bathroom has a shower only and a separate toilet. A baby bath an easily be provided. The lounge room has a fold out bed as well.
The cottage has a laundry with washing machine, dryer and iron. The cottage can be serviced for extended stays. Twin Oaks Cottage is non smoking and pets are allowed with prior consent.
Twin Oaks Cottage is accommodation in a rural setting ideally suited for families. If you want to experience animals, you're welcome to watch the lambs, fetch the eggs, feed the horses and chickens, stroll through the paddocks or go for family bike ride into the national park along the fire trials. The tennis court faces into the paddock for a great afternoon match. For the children, there is a cubby house, slide and swings.
Wineries, cafes and restaurants are all within a 15 mins drive, 25 mins to Bowral and 30 mins to historical Berrima. Mali Brae wedding venue is within 2.5km of Twin Oaks Cottage making it ideal accommodation for the bride and groom families and friends.
