We have just returned from a weekend break this wonderful cottage. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a lovely welcome note with a bottle of wine. Once we'd settled in and made dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, we were offered by the host to go spotlighting around the farm looking for wombats, kangaroos and other wildlife. We saw lots!!
We were also given a great supply of fresh eggs on both days, with the option of collecting extra from the pen, if we needed anymore!
Over the weekend we'd intended to go wine tasting and check out the falls. All of which we did by car. The wineries were approximately 20 mins by car, whilst the falls were closer at only 7 mins by car.
All in all, it was a great weekend and perfect for recharging the batteries after a busy week in the city.
Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

My partner moved to Australia three years ago and we finally had some family come and visit us from England. This was the PERFECT location to treat them to a few days of genuine Australian country living. The bedrooms were not only impeccably interior designed but were incredibly comfortable and made for a perfect night's sleep. Waking up well rested meant we were up early and enjoying the amazing views form the decking while sipping tea and coffee (great coffee pad machine). Animal lovers will be in heaven here. Bird watching (Kookaburras through to Fairy Wrens), friendly horses, cows, bunnies in the early morning and of course the beautiful farm dog who makes the occasional cameo. Our intent was to dine out each night, but with this venue and view, who needs to go anywhere else? In our opinions, there was no better venue, so we enjoyed BBQ's with wine drenched sunsets. The perfect relaxation retreat. Thank you Twin Oaks. WE WILL BE BACK! 5 stars.

The photos did not do justice to this gorgeous farm cottage, the attention to detail in the styling is outstanding, with a farm theme. Kate and her family were very welcoming. The extra little touches made our stay so much better with a bottle of wine on arrival, marshmallows for the fire and farm eggs for our breakfast. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone and would love to go back again, thank you for a beautiful weekend.

It was so relaxing and refreshing and absolutely every little touch was thought of by the owner. Absolutely sublime!! Fresh eggs, fresh air, full kitchen with plenty of supplies, outdoor fire pit, warm and cosy inside and tennis court was fun!! Thank you so much to the owners, we really enjoyed our time here.

My husband and I and our 1 year old stayed at Twin Oaks for 3 nights recently with some friends and their little girl. We had had the best time, the cottage was cosy and well appointed and Kate is a fabulous host having the fire on when we arrived with wine for the adults, marshmallows for the kids (which we roasted on the fire pit) and carrots to feed the horses. We loved being so close to everything the Southern Highlands has to offer. Collecting fresh eggs for breakfast every morning and making friends with the horses were also highlights Our dog, Coco also had an awesome time exploring the property with Kate's gorgeous Lab. Can't wait to stay again!
